Here we go!

bila dah lama sangat tinggalkan blog,macam ni lah jadinya
makin lama jadi berat ya jari jemari nak menaip
memang banyak nak update,tapi tak tahu nak start dari mana.


Lets start with trip ke London dan Amsterdam bersama En.suami 15-22 Oktober yang lepas.
Alhamdulillah,kami selamat pergi, selamat pulang.
Perasaan?Seronok, sampaikan dah balik pun macam tak percaya dah ke London.
Tempat orang,cantik subhanallah.
Allah je yang tahu perasaan tu. 
Setiap hari ada jugak update sikit2 dalam handphone supaya tak terlupa.
Ala2 travelogue gitu..


Tapi gambar banyaknya masya Allah.
Sampaikan memory card 8Gb tu tak cukuplah! Hari ke-4 dah full memory card.
Beli memory card baru terus. Punyalah banyak gambar..
Sebab cantik-cantik permandangan..sampai kadang2 dalam train penat nak tidur pun rasa sayang sebab takut terlepas pemandangan best2.


Nak update memang banyak yang amat..
Kalau boleh, nak share gambar-gambar menarik kat sini..tapi mana yang termampu lah yea.

Day 1 - 15 Oct 2011(Sat)
Flight jam 9 pagi waktu Malaysia. Dari KL-Stansted Airport, London. Dijangka tiba London jam 3.55 petang.
Untuk pengetahuan, waktu di London beza 7 jam dengan Malaysia.

above the cloud..13 jam dalam flight sampai tak tau nak buat ape. sambil menggodek2 DSLR pinjam dari adik ipar.

bumi London dari atas. hijau dan tenang.berpetak2.

setiba di Stansted Airport.

Tiba di London lebih kurang jam 4 petang. Untuk perkhidmatan AirAsia X kali ni memang tepat.Both depart and arrival.

Cuma yang letihnya menunggu di imigresen. Dengan orang yang ramai, kaunter yang bukak hanya 3. Kitorang dah dipesan awal2 oleh Eina, yang imigresen di London agak strict. Diorang memang akan tanya banyak soalan.

Thanks zillion to Eina sebab sebelum sampai dia dah siap2 sediakan FAQ together with jawapan.Kudos!It helps a lot,really.

Walaupun immigration just tanya soalan biasa macam "How long will you be in UK?", "where will you be staying?" "when was the last time you went here"..

Dia tanya lagi kenapa tahun lepas dalam passport suami ade cop datang UK tapi aku takde..

So cakapla last year aku tak pegi..then baru dia tanye "what's your relationship?"

kitorang pun cakaplah baru kawen end of last year,while tahun lepas mase husband datang,die datang dengan ayah and kakak dia..

sekitar Stansted Airport

We both then take Stansted express that take one-hour from Stansted Airport to Liverpool Street. From Liverpool Street ambik tube to Lancaster Gate,the nearest station to Paddington. 

Dari Lancaster Gate, take about 5-8 minutes walk to MARA House, tempat yang kami akan stay for 4 days.

Alhamdulillah,lega bila sampai dalam kira-kira pukul 7.30 malam.

Sampai2 je pintu berkunci. Ada pulak note tulis kena pastikan pintu ni sentiasa berkunci. Kitorg dah tak tahu nak buat apa.Ade cafe kat bawah,tapi tak sure nak tanya kat bawah ke tak. Until ada this 2 malay girls nak masuk and tanya.."nak masuk ke?"

Kitorang angguk je.Bila masuk, tak ada orang di kaunter. Kata budak tu lagi.."boleh tanya di kafe bawah,nanti akan ada yang naik and bagi kunci". Itu pun dia tak tahu kitorang nak stay situ,dia ingatkan kami nak tumpang sembahyang.

Lepas ada orang (MARA staff) naik dari cafe ke kaunter,kitorang pun bgtau detail segala. Asalnya kami pilih studio (queen size bed,bathroom attached) harga 70pound per night..tapi MARA ade reply email masa sebelum datang kata studio dah tak available.So the only choice yang ada is bilik with 3 single bed which cost 30pound sorang.


We agreed until the day we arrive and nak buat payment suddenly dia bgtau that Studio is available sebab orang yang booked earlier dah cancel.
So kitorang decide ambik studio (bathroom attached) and kena tambah 50pound lagi for total 5 days.(nasib baik tak lari bajet ).

Day 2 : 16 Oct, Tour to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath

Esoknya,kami ambil tour bus ke luar London untuk ke Windsor Castle, Stonehenge dan Bath. Tiket memang dari awal dah beli. Pada asalnya,aku ingat nak visit Oxford sekali..tapi Oxford bukan dekat untuk masukkan sekali dalam one day visit. So sama ada kena pilih Oxford,atau Bath.
Ada juga pakej Windsor Castle, Stonehenge dan Oxford. Last2 aku pilih Bath.

Tour bus to outside London memang banyak. Google je,melambak2 keluar. Tapi kalau pandai dan rajin surf dan rajin compare harga,insyaAllah boleh save banyak. Taklah banyak,tapi kalau 10pound,ok jugak kan? (sorryla,tak tau mcmana nak letak simbol pound..so kena la taip satu2).

Tour bus ni bagus sebab dia ada banyak pick-up point.Just tengok kita stay mana,dan pick-up point terdekat, tunggu ikut masa yang ditetapkan.

Macam kitorang ambik tour bus Evans Evans,pickup point di Paddington jam 07.55 pagi.

Paddington station dari MARA House dalam lebih kurang 3minit jalan kaki.

Pagi yang sejuk.best!

our pick-up point is Hilton hotel,Paddington. opposite is Paddington tube station..belum start operate lagi.betapa awalnya kitorang. This was about 7.40am.

lepas naik bas,diorang stop at Victoria Station untuk semua tourist kumpul and take the right bus yang dah booked by package. Our package is from London to Windsor Castle-Stonehenge and Bath.

The tour bus name Evan Evans. depan tu model,bukan Evan nama dia ok.

our stop in Windsor Castle only take place about one hour. Arrived about 10.20am and kena kumpul balik kat tempat turun bas about 11.20.

One thing about taking the tour bus package they already purchase ticket for us and we don't need to wait for a long queue. And we are lucky to be among the earliest ones!

next is Stonehenge. It takes about 1 and a half hour from Windsor Castle to Stonehenge. 

I actually promise myself to put up pictures that I dont upload in FB,kononnya lebih ekslusif just for my blog.
But (always) endup taking it out from FB balik and post it here...
So its not a suprise looking at the same photo as in my FB. =)


We spent about 45minutes in Stonehenge inclusive time for shopping.(Nothing much to shop except for souvenir shop and small shop for cup of coffee). Stonehenge is one of 7 wonders in the world which is recognized by UNESCO.


Then we were heading to Bath...

Beautiful city of Bath

the Roman Bath, which were part of day-to-day  life in Ancient Rome. The Romanians were obsessed to cleanliness and they love to clean themselves (thats what I remember from the audio provided during the visit).
So they build Roman Bath and spent their time here.


This is some information I got from the website,


"It was very cheap to use a Roman bath. A visitor, after paying his entrance fee, would strip naked and hand his clothes to an attendant. He could then do some exercising to work up a sweat before moving into the tepidarium which would prepare him for the caldarium which was more or less like a modern sauna. The idea, as with a sauna, was for the sweat to get rid of the body's dirt. After this a slave would rub olive oil into the visitor's skin and then scrap it off with a strigil. The more luxurious establishments would have professional masseurs to do this. After this, the visitor would return to the tepidarium and then to frigidarium to cool down. Finally, he could use the main pool for a swim or to generally socialise. Bathing was very important to the Ancient Romansas it served many functions."

Actually in Bath,ada satu tempat yang aku memang dah aim nak pergi dari awal.Its the Royal Crescent. Architecture dia saaaangatlah cantik dan memang aku teringin sangat nak ambik gambar kat situ.
But due to limited time and we don't expect it is quite far (well,not exactly.sebab we spent so much time in the Roman Bath.ada bunyik ralat di situ) ditambah takut tertinggal bas maka tak pergilah kami...

we spent about one and a half hour in Bath and make a move back to London.

Arrived London about 7pm as since it was Sunday,so traffic expected macam KL lah jugak sebab the traffic is busy in and out of London.
