Currently waiting for the gate A43b to open.

King Abdul Aziz International Airport, Jeddah

My mind says sleep, my tummy says eat.

This will be my first trip to one of the most populous urban area in the world. Considered overpopulated with 20 million people covering in approximately 590 square kilometres.

Trying to manage my expectation..at least during the flight, for now.

Frankly, I am nervous myself. Rabbi yassir wala tu'assir, rabbi tamim bi khair.

I opened Whatsapp, trying to reminiscing my last conversation with ayah. 

The last voice note was sent 18 days ago, 11 January 2025.

Tears dropped. I can't finish listening to your voice.

I hope its not the last listening to a well conversion of him.

May Allah have grant ayah strength.

I miss you, ayah.
